Manage your name, profile photo, CoreHue web address, location and default currency under **Settings → Profile**. Your default currency is fixed once you set it, so check it before creating your first invoice.

## Opening your settings

Click your avatar at the top of the dashboard and choose **Settings**. The tabs run in this order:

| Tab | What's on it |
| --- | --- |
| **Profile** | Your photo, name, email, CoreHue URL, country, time zone, currency and appearance |
| **Business** | Logo, business details, signature, client page look and CoreHue branding. See [Business details and logo](/docs/account/business-details-and-logo) |
| **Domains** | Your CoreHue URL and a custom domain. See [Connecting a custom domain](/docs/account/connecting-a-custom-domain) |
| **Billing** | Your plan, card, usage and billing history. See [Your billing page](/docs/plans-and-billing/your-billing-page) |
| **Notifications** | Which emails CoreHue sends you. See [Choosing which notifications you get](/docs/account/notification-emails) |
| **Reminders** | Automatic reminders to your clients (Plus and Pro). See [Setting up automatic reminders](/docs/account/automatic-reminders) |
| **Account** | Sign-in, security and your data. See [Signing in, passwords and Google](/docs/account/signing-in-and-security) |

On the Profile tab, changes wait in a save bar at the bottom of the page until you save.

## Profile photo

Click the circle to upload one: JPEG, PNG, WebP or AVIF, under 5MB. It uploads straight away, without waiting for the save bar, and appears in the top corner of your dashboard.

## Full name and email

**Full name** is your name as it appears around CoreHue, including the greeting on your Home screen.

**Email** is the address you sign in with. It's shown here with a tick once verified, but you change it from the **Account** tab. See [Changing your account email](/docs/account/changing-your-email).

## Your CoreHue URL

This is the start of every public link you share, like yourname.corehue.co. CoreHue checks as you type and shows **Available** or **Already taken**. Changing it breaks links you've already sent, so read [Changing your CoreHue URL](/docs/account/your-corehue-url) first.

## Country and time zone

**Country** decides how dates, times and money are written ("Helps localize dates, time, and currency"). **Timezone** is the time every booking is shown in. Change it if you move, or if it was set wrongly during setup.

## Default currency

The currency you price services, send invoices and see your totals in. Until it's set, a **Set your default currency** notice sits here, because you can't create invoices, proposals or priced bookings without one. Choose **Set currency** to pick it.

> **You can't change your default currency later**
Once set, the currency shows a padlock and stays fixed. On Pro you can still invoice in other currencies alongside it. See [Invoicing in more than one currency](/docs/invoices/multiple-currencies).

## Appearance

Choose **System**, **Light** or **Dark** for how the dashboard looks to you. **System** follows your device. The same choice sits under **Appearance** in the avatar menu.

This only changes your own view of CoreHue, in that browser. Your clients' pages have their own look, set under [Branding your client pages](/docs/account/branding-your-client-pages).

## Frequently asked questions

### Why can't I edit my email on the Profile tab?

Your sign-in email is changed on the **Settings → Account** tab, where CoreHue confirms it's really you first.

### Can I change my default currency after setting it?

No. Your CoreHue default currency is fixed once set. If you need to bill clients in another currency, the Pro plan lets you invoice in other currencies alongside your default.

### Does dark mode change what my clients see?

No. The **Appearance** setting (System, Light or Dark) only changes your own dashboard. Client pages use the theme under **Settings → Business → Client pages**.
