If your photographer has turned on downloads, you can save each video in your gallery as an MP4 file that plays on almost any phone, computer or TV. Videos download one at a time.

If there's no download button on a video, your photographer hasn't turned downloads on for it. Ask them if you'd like a copy.

## Download a video

1. Open the video in your gallery, or use the download icon on the video itself.
2. Tap **Download video**.
3. If you're asked for your email or a download PIN, enter them and tap **Continue**. You'll only be asked once.
4. The video saves to your device as an MP4 file.

If you see "Preparing download", the download version of the video isn't quite ready yet. Give it a few minutes, then try again.

Videos are big files, so a strong Wi-Fi connection helps. A long film can take a while to download on mobile data.

## Where the video goes

**On a computer,** it goes to your Downloads folder, like any other download.

**On an iPhone or iPad,** Safari asks whether to download the file, then saves it to the **Files** app, in **Downloads**. To put it in your Photos app, open it in Files, tap the share button and choose **Save Video**.

**On an Android phone,** it goes to your **Downloads** folder. You'll find it in your Files app, and most phones also show it in Google Photos or the Gallery app.

## Frequently asked questions

### Are videos included when I download the whole gallery?

No. The whole-gallery download is photos only. Download each video from the video itself.

### What quality will the video be?

You'll get the best version your photographer's gallery offers, up to the quality the video was uploaded in. It's the same video you watched in the gallery, ready to keep.

### Can I download several videos at once?

Not in one go. Download each video separately.

### The download doesn't start. What can I do?

Check that pop-ups and downloads aren't blocked in your browser, and try again on Wi-Fi. If you see "Download failed", wait a moment and try once more. If it still won't work, let your photographer know.
