# Filling out a questionnaire

> How to answer the questionnaire your photographer sent: your answers save as you go, uploading files, reviewing before you submit, and what happens afterwards.

Your photographer has sent you a few questions so they can plan your session properly: names, timings, places, the shots that matter most to you. It all happens on one page, and your answers save as you type, so you don't have to finish in one go.

## Answer the questions

1. Open the link your photographer sent. At the top you'll see who it's from, the number of **Questions** and, if there is one, the **Due** date.
2. Work down the page and answer each question. A progress bar shows how far you've got.
3. Questions marked as required need an answer before you can submit.

Some questions may appear only after you answer an earlier one. For example, choosing "Yes" to a second location might bring up a question about where it is.

## Your answers save as you go

Near the bottom of the page you'll see **Saving** and then **Saved** as you type. You can close the page and come back to the same link later, and your answers will still be there.

If you see **Couldn't save**, check your internet connection and keep the page open until it says **Saved** again.

## Add files

Some questions ask you to upload something, like a shot list, an inspiration photo or a timeline. Tap the upload area and choose your files. Each file needs to be under 10 MB, and the question tells you which kinds of file it accepts. If a file doesn't upload, use **Retry**.

## Review and submit

1. Tap **Review answers** at the bottom.
2. Check everything on the review screen. Tap **Back to edit** if you need to change anything.
3. Tap **Submit answers**.

You'll see **Thank you, your answers have been submitted**, with a note that your photographer has your answers and will be in touch. If the questionnaire came with a booking or proposal, you'll be taken back there to carry on with your next steps.

## After you submit

You can open the same link anytime to read back what you sent. You can't change answers once they're submitted, so if something changes (a new venue, a different start time), just let your photographer know.

## If the link shows a different message

- **This questionnaire is closed:** the due date has passed. Contact your photographer if you still want to send your answers.
- **This questionnaire was withdrawn:** your photographer no longer needs it.
- **This questionnaire is not available:** the link may be out of date. Ask your photographer to send it again.

If your photographer updates the questionnaire while you're filling it in, you'll see a note saying so. Your answers to any questions that didn't change are kept.

## Frequently asked questions

### Do I have to finish it all at once?

No. Your answers save as you type. Come back to the same link whenever you're ready.

### Can I edit my answers after submitting?

No. Once submitted, your answers are with your photographer. Send them a message with any changes.

### What if I don't know the answer to a question yet?

Leave it for now if it isn't required, and add it later before you submit. If it is required, put your best guess and mention it to your photographer.

### Why can't I upload my file?

Check it's under 10 MB and is a type the question accepts. If it's too big, try a smaller version or a screenshot.
