Watching videos in your gallery

If your photographer filmed your day or session, the videos live right alongside your photos. They play in your browser, adjust to your screen and connection, and there's nothing extra to install.

Find the videos

Videos sit at the top of a chapter, above the photos. Each one shows a still image, a play symbol and how long it runs. If your gallery has several chapters, check each one: your photographer may have put a highlight film in one chapter and a speech in another.

On a computer, rest your pointer on a video for a couple of seconds and a short silent preview starts playing.

Play a video

  1. Tap or click the video.
  2. It opens in a viewer, with the video's title on the player.
  3. Press play. Use the arrows beside the player to move to the previous or next video.
  4. Close the viewer to go back to the gallery.

The player has everything you'd expect: a bar to jump through the video, the time, quality, playback speed, volume and full screen. On a phone or tablet, swipe to move between videos.

If a video won't play yet, your photographer may have only just added it and it's still being prepared. Try again a little later.

Click the video first so the player is listening for your keys.

Share a single video

Every video has its own link, so you can send someone straight to the first dance instead of the whole gallery.

  1. Open the video.
  2. Tap Share video.
  3. Copy the link, or send it straight to X, Facebook, Pinterest, WhatsApp or email.

If the gallery has a password, whoever opens the link will be asked for it first. If you don't see Share video, your photographer hasn't turned sharing on for this gallery. See Sharing your gallery.

Saving a video

If your photographer has turned on downloads, there's a download button on each video and a Download video button in the viewer. See Downloading videos from your gallery.

Frequently asked questions

Why is the video blurry for the first few seconds?

Videos adjust their quality to your connection. On a slower connection they may start a little soft and sharpen as they load.

Can I play videos in the slideshow?

No. The slideshow shows photos only. Open a video to watch it.

Can I add a video to my favorites?

Favorites are for photos. If you'd like to tell your photographer about a video, send them a message or reply to their email.

The video plays without sound. What's wrong?

The short preview that plays when you hover is always silent. Open the video and check the mute button and your device's volume.
