# Creating your CoreHue account > Sign up for CoreHue with Google or email, answer three quick setup questions, and start your free 14-day Plus trial. No credit card needed. Source: https://help.corehue.co/docs/getting-started/creating-your-account/ Creating an account takes a couple of minutes, and you don't need anything ready. No photos, no client list, no pricing worked out. You can add all of that once you're in. ## Signing up 1. Go to [app.corehue.co](https://app.corehue.co) and choose to sign up. 2. Pick **Sign up with Google**, or fill in the email form: **Full name**, **Email address**, **Password** and **Confirm password**. 3. Choose **Create account**. Your password needs at least 10 characters, with upper and lower case letters and a number. A short phrase of unrelated words with a number in it is easy to type and hard to guess. CoreHue also checks new passwords against ones that have turned up in known data breaches, and asks you to pick another if yours is on that list. Use your own name in **Full name**. Your business name comes a moment later. ## Verifying your email If you signed up with email, CoreHue sends a 6-digit code to your inbox. Type it in on the **Check your email** screen. Codes expire after 10 minutes. If one doesn't arrive, check your spam or promotions folder and make sure the address was typed correctly. **Resend code** opens up two minutes after the last one was sent. Signing up with Google skips this step, because Google has already confirmed the address. ## The three setup questions Next, CoreHue asks three short questions. A row of dots shows how far along you are, and **Sign out** is there if you need to stop. ### What would you like to do first? Pick one: **Deliver photos to a client**, **Let clients inquire or book**, **Send a proposal to a client** or **Send an invoice to a client**. This only decides which checklist waits for you on your home screen. Every feature is available whatever you pick. Choose up to three, from groups like **People and celebrations**, **Business and brand** and **Events and documentary**. If you pick more than one, CoreHue asks **What's your main focus?**. Your answers decide which contract, questionnaire and email templates your account starts with. > **This one is for keeps** Your photography types can't be changed later. They only shape your starter templates, though, and you can add any template from the full library whenever you like. ### Make CoreHue yours - **Your CoreHue URL** becomes the start of every link your clients see, like `yourname.corehue.co/smith-wedding`. Use lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens, 3 to 30 characters. CoreHue shows **Available** or **Already taken** as you type. - **Business or studio name** is what clients see on your booking page, invoices, contracts and emails. - **Country** sets how dates, times and money are formatted. - **Logo** is optional. JPEG, PNG, WebP or AVIF up to 5MB. You can add it later. Choose **Set up my workspace** when you're done. Pick a URL you'd be happy printing on a business card. You can change it later in [your profile](/docs/account/your-corehue-url), but links you've already sent will stop working. ## What CoreHue sets up for you While your workspace is created, CoreHue adds a starter set of contract templates, questionnaires and email templates picked for the kind of work you do, plus a recommended set of client reminders. They're ready to edit under **Templates**. ## Starting your free trial The last screen reads **Your workspace is ready**, followed by your first name, with "Explore Plus free for 14 days. No credit card required." Choose **Start free trial** and you land on your [home screen](/docs/getting-started/your-home-screen). Your trial gives you everything in Plus for 14 days. When it ends, you can continue on Plus, move up to Pro, or carry on with the Free plan. See [How your free trial works](/docs/plans-and-billing/your-free-trial). ## Frequently asked questions ### Do I need a credit card to try CoreHue? No. The 14-day trial of Plus starts without a card. You only add one if you decide to continue on a paid plan. ### Can I sign in with both Google and a password? Yes. Once you're in, you can add a password to a Google account, or connect Google to an email account, from [Signing in, passwords and Google](/docs/account/signing-in-and-security). ### Can I change my business name or logo later? Yes, any time from [Business details and logo](/docs/account/business-details-and-logo). Your country and CoreHue URL live in [your profile](/docs/account/your-profile). ### What happens if I don't finish setup in one go? Your account is already created. The next time you sign in, CoreHue takes you back to the setup questions so you can finish them before you reach your dashboard. ### I never got my verification code. What now? Check spam and promotions first, then wait two minutes and choose **Resend code**. If it still doesn't arrive, [contact us](/contact) and we'll sort it out.
