Statuses explained

Almost everything in CoreHue carries a small status badge. Most read the way you'd expect, but a few pairs are easy to mix up, like signed and completed, or draft and unlisted. Use this page as your reference, with a table for each area.

Galleries

StatusWhat it means
DraftNever published. The link doesn't open for anyone else.
PublishedLive. Anyone with the link, and any password you've set, can view it.
UnlistedTaken offline. The link stops working until you publish again.

A gallery card can also show Restricted when you're over your storage limit, or Video restricted (N videos restricted when there's more than one) when you're over your video limit. Clients can't open a restricted gallery until you're back within your plan. See Draft, published and unlisted galleries and When you're over your storage limit.

Unlisted means offline

On many websites "unlisted" means hidden but still reachable. In CoreHue an unlisted gallery is switched off, and an Auto expiry date unlists a gallery on its own when the date arrives.

Booking services

StatusWhat it means
DraftNot published yet. It isn't on your booking page.
PublishedLive and bookable. Counts toward your plan's published service limit.
UnpublishedWas live, now switched off. Its link stops working until you publish it again.
ArchivedPut away, out of your lists and pickers.

Bookings

StatusWhat it means
PendingWaiting on something: a payment, a signature, a questionnaire or your approval.
ConfirmedEverything required is done. It's happening.
CompletedThe session has taken place.
CancelledCalled off.
ExpiredAn unpaid booking ran out of time and the slot reopened. It can't be confirmed later.

A pending booking confirms itself as soon as the last outstanding thing is done. See Why is a booking pending?

Bookings that collect payment also show a payment badge: Awaiting payment, Processing, Pending review, Partially paid, Deposit paid, Paid, Overdue or Needs attention (a payment was refunded or reversed).

Inquiries

StatusWhat it means
OpenStill a live possibility.
BookedIt became a booking.
ClosedFinished, for whatever reason.

Invoices

StatusWhat it means
DraftNot sent. Only you can see it.
OpenSent, with money still owed.
Partially paidSome of the balance is in.
OverduePast its due date and unpaid. With a payment schedule, any single late payment makes the invoice overdue.
PaidSettled in full.
CancelledVoided because it shouldn't have existed.
Written offReal and owed, but you've accepted it won't be paid.

See Invoice statuses.

StatusWhat it means

Signed is the one people misread. It means the ball is in your court. See Counter-signing and completing a contract.

Questionnaires

A client's collection is Active while they're still choosing and Submitted once they've sent it to you.

Frequently asked questions

Both are offline. Draft means it was never published. Unlisted means it was live and you, or an expiry date, took it down. Publishing an unlisted gallery brings the same link back.

Why is my booking still pending after the client paid?

Something else is probably outstanding, like a contract signature, a questionnaire, or your own approval. The booking shows which one at the top of its page.

What's the difference between Cancelled and Written off?

Cancelled means the invoice shouldn't have existed, like a duplicate or a job called off. Written off means the money was genuinely owed but won't be paid.

Why does my contract say Signed and not Completed?

Your client has signed and it's waiting for your signature. Counter-sign it and it moves to Completed.
