CoreHue runs in your web browser, so it works on your phone and tablet as well as your computer. There's no app to install and nothing to update. Sign in at [app.corehue.co](https://app.corehue.co) and you'll see the same account, laid out to fit a smaller screen.

It's handy for checking tomorrow's booking, replying to an inquiry between shoots, or confirming a bank transfer from the car park.

## What moves on a small screen

- **The sidebar** hides behind the menu icon in the top left. Tap it to open, and pick a page to close it again.
- **The breadcrumb** becomes a back arrow beside the menu icon, which takes you up one level.
- **The quick-create plus** in the sidebar needs a mouse to hover, so use the **New** button on each page instead.
- **The trial pill** shortens to "Trial · 6 days left".
- **In the gallery editor**, **Preview** and **Publish** or **Share** move into the **⋯** menu at the top.

## What works best on a computer

Almost everything works on a phone, but a few jobs are easier with a bigger screen and a mouse:

- **Reordering photos.** Dragging photos to rearrange them, or onto a chapter, doesn't work on touch screens. Use **Sort photos** or the photo **⋯** menu's **Move to…** instead. See [Reordering and sorting photos](/docs/galleries/reordering-and-sorting-photos).
- **Selecting lots of photos.** Drawing a box around photos to select them is a desktop feature.
- **Big uploads.** You can upload from your phone, but a full wedding goes faster and more reliably from a computer on a steady connection. See [Tips for uploading large galleries](/docs/galleries/tips-for-large-galleries).
- **Writing contracts and building forms.** Long documents are more comfortable on a larger screen.

## Uploading from your phone

You can add photos straight from your phone's photo library or files. CoreHue accepts JPEG and PNG photos. Many phones save photos as HEIC by default, which CoreHue doesn't accept, so if a photo is skipped, export it as a JPEG first. See [Supported photo and video file types](/docs/galleries/supported-file-types).

Keep the page open until the upload panel says everything is finished.

## Add CoreHue to your home screen

For one-tap access, save CoreHue as a shortcut:

- **iPhone (Safari):** open app.corehue.co, tap the share button, then **Add to Home Screen**.
- **Android (Chrome):** open app.corehue.co, tap the menu, then **Add to Home screen**.

It opens in your browser like any other page. If you left **Keep me signed in** ticked when you signed in, you stay signed in for up to 30 days, as long as you don't go two weeks without opening CoreHue. Without it, you're signed out after a day.

## Notifications on the go

CoreHue sends notifications by email rather than phone push alerts. Choose which ones you get in [notification settings](/docs/account/notification-emails), and they'll arrive wherever you read your email.

## What your clients see on their phones

Most clients open their gallery, booking page or invoice on a phone, and every client page is built for it.

- **Galleries** fit the screen, play videos full screen, and on iPhone your client can save single photos straight to their Photos app. See [What your client sees in their gallery](/docs/galleries/what-your-client-sees).
- **Booking, contracts and invoices** work with taps, including drawing a signature with a finger and paying with Apple Pay or Google Pay where Stripe offers it.

Preview your gallery's mobile layout on the **Layout** tab before you share it.

## Frequently asked questions

### Is there a CoreHue app in the App Store or Google Play?

Not at the moment. CoreHue works in your phone's browser, and you can add it to your home screen for quick access.

### Can I upload photos from my phone?

Yes. JPEG and PNG photos upload from your phone like they do from a computer. For large galleries, a computer is faster and more reliable.

### Why can't I drag photos to reorder them on my phone?

Drag and drop for photos needs a mouse. On a phone, use **Sort photos** or **Move to…** from a photo's menu.

### Do my clients need an app to see their gallery?

No. Clients open everything from a link in their phone's browser.
