# Your bookings list

> Find any client booking in CoreHue quickly. What each column on your bookings list means, how the status filter works, and how to search.

**Bookings → All bookings** holds every session that's going ahead, whether your client booked it on your booking page, accepted a proposal, or you added it yourself. It's the quickest way to see where each job stands and whether it's been paid for.

## What each column shows

| Column | What it tells you |
| --- | --- |
| **Booking #** | The booking's reference number |
| **Contact** | Your client's name, with their email underneath |
| **Service** | The service it was booked from. A dash means a one-off booking with no service |
| **Status** | **Pending**, **Confirmed**, **Completed**, **Cancelled** or **Expired** |
| **Date** | The session date, or the date range for multi-day work |
| **Payment** | Where the money stands, such as **Awaiting payment**, **Deposit paid** or **Paid** |
| **Amount** | What's been billed on the booking's invoices, or the quote from your booking page if nothing is invoiced yet. A dash means there's no invoice and no quote |

The list shows your newest bookings first. Click any row to open the booking.

The **Amount** column follows the booking's invoices, so it changes as you bill. [Booking details: title, description and amount](/docs/managing-bookings/booking-details) explains exactly what counts.

## Filtering and searching

The status filter opens on **Active bookings**, which is everything pending or confirmed. That's your working view: the jobs that still need something from you or your client.

Switch it to see the rest:

- **All bookings**, including finished and called-off ones
- **Pending**, waiting on payment, paperwork or your confirmation
- **Confirmed**, locked in and on your calendar
- **Completed**, sessions you've marked as done
- **Cancelled**
- **Expired**, unpaid bookings whose deadline ran out

The search box finds bookings by client or booking. On a phone, the filter folds into a filter panel next to the search.

If **Active bookings** is empty, you'll see "No active bookings". Your history is still there under **All bookings**.

## Status and payment are tracked separately

A booking's **Status** and its **Payment** are two different things, and it helps to read them together. A confirmed booking can still show **Awaiting payment** or **Overdue** if your client was allowed to confirm before paying, or if a later installment is due. An invoice that's past due with nothing paid at all shows **Awaiting payment**.

| Payment badge | Meaning |
| --- | --- |
| **Awaiting payment** | Nothing has been paid yet |
| **Pending review** | Your client has reported a manual payment and it's waiting for you to check |
| **Processing** | A card payment is still going through |
| **Deposit paid** | The payment needed to confirm has been made |
| **Partially paid** | Some, but not all, of the invoice has been paid |
| **Overdue** | Something has been paid, but a later payment is past its due date |
| **Paid** | Everything billed has been paid |
| **Needs attention** | Something about the payment, such as a refund or reversal, needs a look |

A dash in the **Payment** column means the booking doesn't need payment, or it's been cancelled.

If something is pending, [Why is a booking pending?](/docs/managing-bookings/why-a-booking-is-pending) walks through what it's waiting for. If a client says they've paid but the badge says otherwise, see [Reviewing payment proof](/docs/payments/reviewing-payment-proof).

## Adding a booking from the list

**New booking** at the top of the list opens the booking form. You can also start one from a contact, an inquiry, the calendar, or the **New booking** quick action on your Home screen. See [Adding a booking yourself](/docs/managing-bookings/creating-a-booking).

## Frequently asked questions

### Why isn't a booking showing in my list?

Check the filter first. **Active bookings** hides completed, cancelled and expired bookings, so switch to **All bookings** and search for your client's name.

### Why does a booking show a dash in the Amount column?

A dash in the **Amount** column means the booking has no invoice and no quote yet. Bookings you add yourself without collecting payment have no amount until you create an invoice from the booking.

### Can I delete a booking?

No. Bookings are connected to invoices, payments and contracts, so they stay on record. Cancel a booking you no longer need and it drops out of your active view.

### Where do inquiries appear?

Inquiries aren't bookings yet, so they live under **Bookings → Inquiries**. See [Managing inquiries](/docs/managing-bookings/managing-inquiries).
