How many services can I publish?
You can create as many services as you like on any plan. The limit is on how many are published, meaning live on your booking page at the same time.
Free includes 1 published service, Plus includes 5, and Pro has no limit. See CoreHue plans.
Limits by plan
| Plan | Published services |
|---|---|
| Free | 1 |
| Plus | 5 |
| Pro | Unlimited |
Only published services count. Drafts, unpublished and archived services never do, so you can keep a seasonal mini session or a winter offer ready and swap it in when the time comes.
Every mode counts the same. An inquiry service uses a spot just like a direct booking does.
Checking your count
On Bookings → Services, a counter sits next to Add service, like "3 of 5 published". It turns a warning color when you're at your limit. Pro accounts don't see a counter, since there's nothing to count.
You can also see it under Settings → Billing → Usage, in the Published services row.
When you hit the limit
If you try to publish one more, CoreHue shows Published service limit reached instead. On Free it reads: "Your Free plan includes 1 published service. Unpublish a service to publish this one, or upgrade to a paid plan to publish more." On Plus it offers Pro for unlimited published services.
You have two ways forward:
- Swap one out. Open the ⋯ menu on a live service, choose Unpublish, then publish the new one.
- Upgrade. The button in the dialog takes you to the Plans page. See Upgrading your plan.
Fitting more into fewer services
If you're on Free or Plus and running short, a few habits stretch your allowance:
- Fold lengths into one service. Instead of separate one-hour and two-hour portrait services, turn on longer bookings and price each length. See Offering longer sessions.
- Use add-ons for extras. An extra hour, a second shooter or rush editing can be add-ons on the main service. See Adding add-ons to a service.
- Rotate seasonal services. Unpublish your spring minis when they're done and publish autumn when it's time. The setup stays put.
When your plan changes
Moving from Pro to Plus is only possible once you have 5 or fewer services published. If you have more, CoreHue shows Before you switch to Plus with your current count, and you'll need to unpublish some first. If you're over 5 when a Plus plan takes effect anyway, for example after a scheduled switch, CoreHue keeps the first 5 in list order published, unpublishes the rest and emails you. See Moving to a smaller plan.
Moving to Free (a trial ending, a cancelled subscription, or a renewal that fails after the grace period) is never blocked. Instead, CoreHue keeps the first published service in your services list order published and unpublishes the rest. You get an email, "Some booking services were unpublished", with a Review services button.
If your trial or subscription is about to end, unpublish the services you don't need yourself first. That way the one left live on Free is the one you picked.
Unpublished services keep all their settings. Upgrade again and you can republish them in a click.
Frequently asked questions
Do archived services count toward my limit?
No. Only published services count. Drafts, unpublished and archived services are free to keep.
What happens to bookings from a service that gets unpublished?
Bookings from an unpublished service are untouched. Unpublishing only stops new clients from booking that service. Existing bookings, payments and documents carry on as normal.
Will I get an email if my services are unpublished?
Yes. CoreHue emails you when a plan change unpublishes services. You can turn those emails off under Settings → Notifications with Services unpublished on Plus and Services unpublished on Free, though it's worth keeping them on.
Is there a limit on bookings?
No. The limit is only on published services. Each one can take as many bookings as your availability allows.
