If you signed up from Nigeria, you pay for CoreHue in Naira (₦) through Paystack. You don't need a dollar card, and there's nothing to set up: the payment provider follows the country you signed up from.

## Prices in Naira

| Plan | Monthly | Annual |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Free | ₦0 | ₦0 |
| Plus | ₦25,000 a month | ₦264,000 a year (₦22,000 a month) |
| Pro | ₦40,000 a month | ₦420,000 a year (₦35,000 a month) |

7.5% VAT is added to these prices, and CoreHue shows "+ 7.5% VAT" beside them in the app. The 14-day Plus trial is free and needs no card. For everything each plan includes, see [CoreHue plans and pricing](/docs/plans-and-billing/corehue-plans).

## The ₦50 card verification charge

When you add a card for a plan that starts later, for example continuing on Plus after your trial, Paystack charges ₦50 to check the card works. CoreHue tells you before you continue: "We'll charge ₦50 today to verify your card and refund it automatically. The refund may take up to 10 business days."

You don't need to do anything to get it back. The same small, refundable charge may apply when you update your card.

## Plan changes happen at renewal

On Paystack, moving between paid plans or billing periods takes effect at your next renewal. The button on the Plans page reads **Switch at renewal**, and the confirmation shows the start date and your next charge.

That includes moving from Plus to Pro: you keep Plus until your renewal date, then Pro begins. Upgrading from Free, or starting Pro straight away during your trial, is paid there and then.

## Updating your card

1. Go to **Settings → Billing**.
2. In **Payment method**, choose **Change card** (or **Add card** if you haven't added one yet).
3. In **Update card**, choose **Continue to Paystack** and enter your new card on Paystack's secure page.

Your new card is used from your next renewal. If you're in the middle of a failed payment, use the buttons in the card at the top of the billing page instead. See [When a subscription payment fails](/docs/plans-and-billing/when-a-payment-fails).

## Cancelling on Paystack

**Cancel subscription** on your billing page cancels right inside CoreHue, with no extra page to visit. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, then your account moves to Free. To undo it before then, choose **Keep plan**. See [Cancelling your subscription](/docs/plans-and-billing/cancelling-your-subscription).

## Receipts

Every charge appears under **Billing history** on your billing page, with a PDF you can download for your records.

## Frequently asked questions

### Can I pay in US dollars instead?

No. CoreHue accounts that sign up from Nigeria are billed in Naira through Paystack, and that can't be switched to US dollars.

### Is VAT included in the price?

No. For CoreHue accounts billed in Naira, 7.5% VAT is added on top of the plan price, and the app shows it beside the price.

### Why was I charged ₦50?

The ₦50 charge is Paystack's card check when you add or update a card for your CoreHue plan. It's refunded automatically, though the refund can take up to 10 business days to reach you.

### Does this affect how my clients pay me?

No. Paystack is only used to pay for your CoreHue plan. Your clients pay you by card through Stripe or by your manual methods. How clients pay you is set up separately under **Payments → Settings**. See [How getting paid works in CoreHue](/docs/payments/how-getting-paid-works).
