# How your free trial works > Try CoreHue Plus free for 14 days with no credit card. How the trial starts, how to continue on Plus or Pro, and what happens when it ends. Source: https://help.corehue.co/docs/plans-and-billing/your-free-trial/ Every new CoreHue account can try the Plus plan free for 14 days, with no credit card. It's the full Plus plan, not a demo, so you can try it on real client work while you decide. ## Starting your trial Your trial starts at the end of account setup, on the screen that says "Explore Plus free for 14 days. No credit card required." 1. Finish the three setup questions. See [Creating your CoreHue account](/docs/getting-started/creating-your-account). 2. Choose **Start free trial**. Your 14 days start the moment you press the button. There's no Pro trial, but you can move up to Pro during your trial (see below). ## Keeping track of your days A small pill in the dashboard header counts down, for example **Plus trial · 6 days left** (on a phone it's shortened to **Trial · 6 days left**). On the last day it reads **Plus trial ends today**. Click it to open your billing page. Once you've chosen a plan, the pill changes to show what happens next, such as **Plus continues** with the date, or **Pro starts** with the date. If you haven't added a card, a notice appears on your Home screen from three days before the end ("Your trial ends in 3 days", then "tomorrow" and "today") with an **Add payment method** button. We also email you three days before. ## Continuing on Plus after your trial 1. Go to **Settings → Billing** and choose **Choose a plan**. 2. Pick **Monthly** or **Annual** at the top of the Plans page. 3. On the Plus card, choose **Continue with Plus**. 4. Check the details in **Continue with Plus after your trial** (the start date and the price), then confirm and add your card. You aren't charged until your trial ends. The rest of your 14 days carries on as normal, and the Plus card shows **Starts** with the date. Adding a card from the Home notice does the same thing: it schedules Plus to begin when your trial ends. ## Upgrading to Pro during your trial On the Pro card, choose **Upgrade to Pro**. CoreHue asks **When should your Pro plan start?** - **Start now**: you pay for your first month (or year) of Pro today, and your trial ends once payment is complete. The button reads **Upgrade now**. - **Start after my trial**: you keep your trial until its end date, then Pro begins and your card is charged. > **Paying from Nigeria** If you're billed through Paystack, scheduling a plan to start after your trial includes a small card verification charge of ₦50, refunded automatically. The refund can take up to 10 business days. See [Paying for CoreHue in Nigeria](/docs/plans-and-billing/billing-in-nigeria). ## Changing your mind before the trial ends If you've scheduled a plan and want to undo it, go to **Settings → Billing** and choose **Cancel renewal**. CoreHue confirms that your trial stays active until its end date, the scheduled charge is cancelled, and your account then moves to the Free plan. Your Home screen shows **Trial renewal cancelled** with a button to put the plan back if you change your mind again. ## When your trial ends - **If you chose a plan**, it starts on the day your trial ends and you carry straight on. - **If you didn't**, your account moves to the Free plan. We email you ("Your CoreHue trial has ended") so you know. Nothing is locked. You can still sign in, your galleries and documents stay in your account, and you can upgrade at any time from **Settings → Billing**. Free does have smaller limits, so a few things change straight away. Gallery videos are hidden from clients, client downloads drop to web sizes, a custom domain is disconnected, and only your first booking service stays published. If your galleries use more than Free's 3.5 GB, your oldest galleries are hidden from clients until you're back under the limit. Restricted videos and the files in restricted galleries are permanently deleted after 30 days unless you upgrade or free up space. If clients are still using a gallery, choose a plan before your trial ends. ## Frequently asked questions ### Do I need a credit card to start the trial? No. The 14-day CoreHue Plus trial needs no credit card. You only add a card if you decide to continue on Plus or move to Pro. ### Can I extend my trial? No. The CoreHue trial is 14 days. If you need more time to decide, you can keep using CoreHue on the Free plan and upgrade whenever you're ready. ### Will I be charged automatically when the trial ends? Only if you chose a plan and added a card. If you didn't, your account moves to the Free plan when the trial ends and nothing is charged. ### What happens to the contracts I sent during my trial? Contracts you sent during your trial stay exactly as they are, signed or not. Documents you send during the trial count toward Free's five contracts and five questionnaires if you move to Free afterwards, so you may already be at that limit.
