If you're moving gallery delivery from Pic-Time, start by setting up a CoreHue gallery and testing the client experience. You can then connect delivery with bookings, contracts and invoices in the same account.

The honest headline first: CoreHue has no print store. If automated print sales are central to your income, read the section on what you'd give up before going further.

## What it's called in CoreHue

| In Pic-Time | In CoreHue | Good to know |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Gallery | [Gallery](/docs/galleries/how-galleries-work) | Same idea: photos and videos on one private link. |
| Scene | [Chapter](/docs/galleries/organizing-with-chapters) | Every gallery starts with one called **Featured**. |
| Favorites | [Collections](/docs/gallery-favorites/how-favorites-work) | Clients star photos into named collections and send them to you. |
| Gallery theme and design | [Layout tab](/docs/galleries/customizing-gallery-design) | 14 cover layouts, 14 typography sets and 9 color palettes, with desktop and mobile preview. |
| Gallery password | [Gallery password](/docs/gallery-sharing/password-protecting-a-gallery) | Plus a separate private [client password](/docs/gallery-sharing/client-access-and-private-passwords) for the person the photos belong to. |
| Email registration | Email registration | Visitors give their email before viewing, and you see who on the **Activity** tab. |
| Digital downloads | [Download settings](/docs/gallery-downloads/download-settings) | Choose original or web sizes, turn downloads on per chapter, and use a 4-digit PIN. |
| Slideshow | [Slideshow](/docs/galleries/client-experience-settings) | Plays the photos in the chapter being viewed. |
| Video | [Gallery video](/docs/gallery-video/video-in-galleries) | On Plus and Pro, streamed at the right quality for each screen. |
| Print store and automated sales | Nothing | No print store, cart, lab integration or sales automation. |
| Client emails | [Messages](/docs/messages/how-messages-work) and [reminders](/docs/account/automatic-reminders) | Real conversations with clients, and automatic chasing for invoices and documents. |

CoreHue also covers the business side you might be running in other tools: [online booking](/docs/online-booking/how-online-booking-works), [contracts](/docs/contracts/how-contracts-work), [proposals](/docs/proposals/how-proposals-work), [invoices](/docs/invoices/how-invoices-work), [questionnaires](/docs/questionnaires/how-questionnaires-work) and [contact forms](/docs/contact-forms/creating-a-contact-form).

## What moves over, and how

There's no importer, so you move what's still in use and leave the rest.

**Galleries.** Download the photos from each Pic-Time gallery you still need, then [create a gallery](/docs/galleries/creating-a-gallery) and upload them. Upload each scene into its own chapter to keep the structure. CoreHue accepts JPEG and PNG photos up to 100 MB each, and RAW files on Pro.

**Videos.** On Plus and Pro, upload MP4, MOV, M4V or AVI files up to 20 GB each. See [Video limits by plan](/docs/gallery-video/video-limits-by-plan).

**Clients.** Add the ones you're actively working with in [Contacts](/docs/contacts/adding-a-contact). Everyone else arrives as they inquire or book.

**Your price list.** Save your packages as [items](/docs/payments/saved-items) for invoices and proposals.

**Print orders in progress.** Let them finish on Pic-Time.

## What CoreHue does differently

**Galleries connected to the rest of the job.** Link a gallery to a contact and it sits on their page next to their booking, contract and invoices. See [Linking a gallery to your contacts](/docs/galleries/linking-galleries-to-contacts).

**Fine-grained privacy.** Keep chapters for your client only, hide chapters from everyone, and let your client hide photos from guests. See [Who can see your gallery](/docs/gallery-sharing/who-can-see-your-gallery).

**Guided proofing.** Send a [selection request](/docs/gallery-favorites/requesting-client-selections) like Album picks or Retouch list, with a brief and a photo limit.

**Getting booked and paid, not just delivering.** Clients can book a session, sign your contract and pay a deposit in one go, and you can send invoices with payment schedules and card payments through Stripe.

## What you'd give up

**Print and product sales.** Clients can't buy prints, albums or digital files from a CoreHue gallery, and there are no sales campaigns. When a client wants prints, you can collect their picks with a **Print order** selection request, send an [invoice](/docs/invoices/creating-an-invoice) and order from your lab. That works, but it's more hands-on than an automated store.

If print revenue matters a lot to you, keep a print-sales tool alongside CoreHue rather than expecting one to replace the other. See [What CoreHue doesn't do (yet)](/docs/getting-started/what-corehue-doesnt-do).

## Your first week

**Day 1.** [Create your account](/docs/getting-started/creating-your-account), add your business details and logo, and set your default currency.

**Day 2.** Rebuild one recent gallery: upload, organize into chapters, then design it on the **Layout** tab and pick a cover.

**Day 3.** Work through the gallery's **Settings** tabs: Sharing, Access, Downloads and Collections. The download PIN is on until you turn it off.

**Day 4.** Publish it, share it with yourself, and open the link in a private window to see your client's view.

**Day 5.** Adapt a starter contract, save your items, connect payments and send yourself an invoice you actually pay.

**Then.** Deliver your next job through CoreHue from the start.

## Frequently asked questions

### Is CoreHue a good Pic-Time alternative for photographers?

Yes, if you want galleries plus booking, contracts, proposals and invoicing in one place, yes. If most of your income comes from automated print sales, CoreHue won't replace that part.

### Can I sell prints through CoreHue?

No. CoreHue has no print store. You can collect print picks with a selection request and invoice the client, then order from your own lab.

### Can I move my Pic-Time galleries automatically?

No. CoreHue has no Pic-Time importer. Download the photos from Pic-Time and upload them to new CoreHue galleries.

### Can I deliver videos in CoreHue galleries?

Yes, on Plus and Pro. CoreHue gallery videos sit above the photos in each chapter, and clients can watch and, if you allow it, download them.
