Switching from Pic-Time to CoreHue
If you're moving gallery delivery from Pic-Time, start by setting up a CoreHue gallery and testing the client experience. You can then connect delivery with bookings, contracts and invoices in the same account.
The honest headline first: CoreHue has no print store. If automated print sales are central to your income, read the section on what you'd give up before going further.

CoreHue also covers the business side you might be running in other tools: online booking, contracts, proposals, invoices, questionnaires and contact forms.
What moves over, and how
There's no importer, so you move what's still in use and leave the rest.
Galleries. Download the photos from each Pic-Time gallery you still need, then create a gallery and upload them. Upload each scene into its own chapter to keep the structure. CoreHue accepts JPEG and PNG photos up to 100 MB each, and RAW files on Pro.
Videos. On Plus and Pro, upload MP4, MOV, M4V or AVI files up to 20 GB each. See Video limits by plan.
Clients. Add the ones you're actively working with in Contacts. Everyone else arrives as they inquire or book.
Your price list. Save your packages as items for invoices and proposals.
Print orders in progress. Let them finish on Pic-Time.
What CoreHue does differently
Galleries connected to the rest of the job. Link a gallery to a contact and it sits on their page next to their booking, contract and invoices. See Linking a gallery to your contacts.
Fine-grained privacy. Keep chapters for your client only, hide chapters from everyone, and let your client hide photos from guests. See Who can see your gallery.
Guided proofing. Send a selection request like Album picks or Retouch list, with a brief and a photo limit.
Getting booked and paid, not just delivering. Clients can book a session, sign your contract and pay a deposit in one go, and you can send invoices with payment schedules and card payments through Stripe.
What you'd give up
Print and product sales. Clients can't buy prints, albums or digital files from a CoreHue gallery, and there are no sales campaigns. When a client wants prints, you can collect their picks with a Print order selection request, send an invoice and order from your lab. That works, but it's more hands-on than an automated store.
If print revenue matters a lot to you, keep a print-sales tool alongside CoreHue rather than expecting one to replace the other. See What CoreHue doesn't do (yet).
Your first week
Day 1. Create your account, add your business details and logo, and set your default currency.
Day 2. Rebuild one recent gallery: upload, organize into chapters, then design it on the Layout tab and pick a cover.
Day 3. Work through the gallery's Settings tabs: Sharing, Access, Downloads and Collections. The download PIN is on until you turn it off.
Day 4. Publish it, share it with yourself, and open the link in a private window to see your client's view.
Day 5. Adapt a starter contract, save your items, connect payments and send yourself an invoice you actually pay.
Then. Deliver your next job through CoreHue from the start.
Frequently asked questions
Is CoreHue a good Pic-Time alternative for photographers?
Yes, if you want galleries plus booking, contracts, proposals and invoicing in one place, yes. If most of your income comes from automated print sales, CoreHue won't replace that part.
Can I sell prints through CoreHue?
No. CoreHue has no print store. You can collect print picks with a selection request and invoice the client, then order from your own lab.
Can I move my Pic-Time galleries automatically?
No. CoreHue has no Pic-Time importer. Download the photos from Pic-Time and upload them to new CoreHue galleries.
Can I deliver videos in CoreHue galleries?
Yes, on Plus and Pro. CoreHue gallery videos sit above the photos in each chapter, and clients can watch and, if you allow it, download them.
